2005 - Veins Fall and Winter Tour

Charlotte hits the road again in the fall of 2005 to close out the year of some amazing music. Her tour in support of her latest EP, "Veins," was even more thrilling than the last tour. She outdoes herself every time and we, the fans, are lucky to be a witness to the evolution of this artist. The 'Veins' tour was simply awesome. New music, powerful new sound and lyrics that get even more personal and yet reach out and touch even more ears. the virus synth, four walls, gravel skies, bones...mixed in with the ever expanding library of Char Mar songs. It's a perfect fit. The fall tour culiminates in an emotion packed, intense and amazing DVD show: 'Something Like A DVD.' Her first DVD show! And if that wasn't enough, Charlotte outdoes herself by touring in the winter on the west coast and connects with even more people. Veins. The connections that make the heart beat faster. it was a tour about all that and so much more.

2005 - Darkest Hour Summer Tour

The Darkest Hour Summer Tour 2005. In June 05, Charlotte and her crew of 2 (tour manager/photographer/buddy, Erin Russell & fiancÚ/guitarist/roadie, Ken Andrews) travelled across the U.S. playing something like 15 cities in 3 weeks. It was Charlotte's first headlining tour, and she shines bright as she plays to her people, her fans. Even in the darkest hour, she shines. Live shows that were intense, passionate, emotional, and fun...hugathons and lovefests...and eps and cds and buttons and stickers. Seriously, let's not forget 'The Darkest Hour EP' ('Darkest Hour' is a work of art, and one of my favorites [hello. darkest-limits.com] 'Chasing A Shadow' finally released! an awesome cover of DM's 'Judas'! 'The Flood' (which should have been 10 minutes long) and a kickin' remix of 'Limits of Our Love.' [hello again. darkest-limits.com] :) The tour was a blessing for Char fans. So much to experience. It was an unforgettable summer full of soul stirring music and new friends...and great anticipation of what's next for Charlotte Martin.

2004 - Spring Tour : Chicks With Attitude Summer Tour : Fall Tour

In 2004, Charlotte was touring...a lot! :) She opened for Paul Kelly and Sondre Lerche earlier in the year. She also hooked up with some powerhouse female rockers on the Chicks With Attitude Tour for a great summer tour. Charlotte continued to tour into the fall, opening for Matt Nathanson. Highlights were definitely first headline show at very hot Joe's Pub in NYC, her playing at the legendary Apollo Theater in NYC for the 'Vaginas Vote, Chicks Rock' show, her 2 sets in Central Park for the Clairol Find Your Balance Yoga Fest and for me, being able to travel to see and support a bunch of her shows. This was the year I was bitten by the touring-for-Charlotte bug...there is no known cure.:)
